No Academies Want To Train For Professional Tennis

On-Court Training Comments (0)

Because of the broken academy model, almost all Tennis Academy’s are turning into college prep programs. This is because a lack of individual attention leads to mediocrity in development.  The problem with this is that in order to reach the highest levels of collegiate division one tennis a player must train like a professional.

This makes regular academy development a factory for mediocre college tennis, not top tier College tennis. If players want to reach the top of Division I college tennis or make it professionally they must get out of the academy mode and into an individualized training program that develops them to their maximum potential.
