At some point, every athlete is faced with the reality that they’ll have to train harder than anticipated. Unfortunately, that’s where most will max-out their Peak Performance level because they’re afraid of the workload. The trick is to make the hard stuff fun. One way to do that is to surround yourself with a community of people who are willing to overcome obstacles at the same rate that you are.
This core group needs to have three main components, a leader (The Coach or Coaching team), a secondary leader (The most motivated player in the group), and the supplemental leaders (The least capable players in the group). If all three are inspired and willing to support the rest of the group there isn’t a more fun way to train.
