Tennis Training Camp
for High School Teams
Give your high school team the Jackson-Bridge advantage! Our team camps focus on every aspect of High School Team Tennis from doubles and singles tactics to identifying each players strengths and weaknesses. Camps run weekly (Sun-Sat) with a full week of on-court tennis training and off-court fitness.
Team training includes all court drills, situational tactical drills, serve, return, volley drills and team players compete daily against our high-level full-time tennis students. Team Coaches are welcome on-court to assist in the training (optional).
A major focus for the week is to find systems that make the team more effective and efficient in all aspects of high school competition.
On-Court Tennis Training
Our daily training is divided into two time slots. The first is a 2.5hr block from 11:30-2 pm being designated for technical and tactical drills, hitting lessons, small group situational hitting, topical mental training, and agility drills.
The second 3hr block begins at 3 pm as we transition into competition mode with sets and point play (singles and doubles), challenge matches, match tactics, and routine training. Included in this time slot is fitness training / athletic development from 4-6 pm.
Since all players have different areas of focus daily training may vary within the time slot (blocks). Players are encouraged to take ownership of their daily training needs under our guidance and supervision of their team coach.
Typically players will train with 4 hours of tennis and 1 hour of fitness daily based on tournament schedules.
- Player Evaluations: All team members are evaluated throughout the week and given specific developmental tasks to work on. Team coaches are invited to be a part of the evaluation process.
- Team Drills: Player will be paired with ideal doubles partners or players on the team at comparable levels for small group drill sessions. These sessions are for working on repetition, technique, movement, or a variety of developmental systems.
- Competition / Tactical Training: Players will learn court patterns and placement, offensive and defensive awareness, and how to play the score.
- Athletic Development: All players will participate in the JBTA fitness program emphasizing injury prevention through strength and flexibility, followed by speed training, endurance, and agility.

Jackson-Bridge Tennis Academy is located at Los Cab Sports Village in Fountain Valley, One of the only tennis academy ready full-service facilities in California. Los Cab is 45 minutes from Los Angeles and 20 minutes from Newport Beach.
Los Cab Sports Village is the best club in Southern California for a tennis academy with all of the amenities needed for a successful, world-class academy.
SOCIAL & FUN
Besides the intensive daily training Jackson-Bridge players experience a balance of hard work and social fun with team building clinics and match play events. Living in SoCal there is no shortage of interesting venues to experience.
Events include going to movies, the many beaches, SoCal landmarks, not to mention amusement parks like Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Six Flags Magic Mountain. To add an educational component we will visit the many world-class museums like the Getty in Los Angeles.
Students will visit prospective college tennis team campuses like USC, UCLA, with our COLLEGE PLACEMENT TEAM

High School Team Camp
On-Court Drills, Points Play, Mental Training, On-Court & Off-Court Fitness.
Camps are over Spring Break or Summer. For availability, during the school year, a team coach must RSVP a minimum of 3 months in advance with a 50% deposit.
Options include additional Private Lessons, Hitting Lessons, Player Evaluations, and Fitness.
The team coach must attend with an additional hotel room. Training includes being in the Full-time Academy, but with an emphasis on doubles, team training, and a competitive mindset.
